The Bios Defender™ Series represents the latest in NIST-traceable, true primary calibrators. Each Defender is individually calibrated in our ISO 17025-, ANSI Z-540- and NIST Handbook 150-accredited gas flow calibration laboratory. At only 29 ounces, the rugged, sleek Defender travels easily, and exemplifies accuracy and simplicity. Just turn the Defender on, connect it to your pump and begin taking flow measurements. It’s that quick.
If it’s an enhanced audit trail that you need, the Defender 520 model in the series functions as a “three-in-one” primary standard – automatically and without the need for additional instrumentation. While you volumetrically calibrate your pumps, your Defender 520 model simultaneously records the temperature and pressure conditions of the calibration process for your audit trail.
About that audit trail: Why not have it in the form of a secure, comprehensive personal sampling pump database, complete with pump profiles, printable pre- and post-calibration reports, search features, and more? Both Defender Series models come standard with our proprietary Windows-based Bios Optimizer 110 software, enabling you to download real-time calibration data and view it on your PC’s screen while simultaneously storing it to a text file (no configuration necessary, by the way) – but, you can take that audit trail a big step further and upgrade to Bios Optimizer 120 for the ultimate in convenience.
