Harvey Padden
Founder, Chairman and CEO

Harvey is a widely known and respected figure in the flow industry, both for his years of active involvement in the metrological community and his development of DryCal® technology. DryCal® remains the cornerstone of all Bios flow calibrators.
"We offer a true primary standard, and accreditation to the highest standards in the industry," Harvey notes with pride. "Over more than two decades, we have become an industry leader by following a simple formula. Produce high-quality products and back it with equally professional support and service. Keep looking for ways to apply our experience and expertise on behalf of customers everywhere. Never stop thinking about better ways to do things, and never stop listening to your customer."
Scott Calvert

Scott has devoted his entire 20-plus year career to Bios, using his electrical engineering skills to develop products that are not just accurate and reliable, but easy to operate as well. His extensive experience in every facet of the business makes him a problem solver - for his fellow employees, and Bios customers around the world. In addition to his duties managing Bios operations, he also provides direct support for engineering and product development, as well as technical support for customers in getting the most from their Bios flow calibrators.
"I know we offer the best products and solutions in flow measurement. I know it because I see first-hand the science and engineering that goes into every Bios device, and the pride people here take in delivering something no one else can match for performance or value."
Ed Morrel
Vice President
Manager, Engineering

Ed leads the Bios team of engineers and technicians in the development of new products, improvements to existing Bios devices and technical support for Bios products in the field. He has been with Bios for over 5 years, and previously worked in various engineering posts.
"My job is to provide the flow calibration equipment that will help Bios customers deal with an increasingly challenging set of metrological challenges," he observes. "Metrology is moving out of the lab and into the field more and more every day. We develop and maintain devices capable of meeting those increasing demands. And maybe just as important, we also use the experience we have here at Bios to help customers find the end-to-end solutions they need."
Janet Spetz

Janet's extensive career as a business manager enables her to fill a number of important roles in Bios management. As controller, she ensures the effective use of company money and other assets to achieve the company's performance goals. In addition to this critical position, Janet also directs the Bios human resource and administrative functions.
What makes her good at her job? "Analytical thinking, attention to details, patience and good listening skills." Her philosophy: "In a moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing, the next best thing is the wrong thing, and the worst thing you can do is nothing." And the best part of her job: "The people I work with."

Network members and customers alike describe Dorel as passionate about her job and a trusted source for the answers they need to maintain a smoothly functioning sales process. In addition, Denise oversees all aspects of sales administration.
It's a big job, demanding more than just thorough understanding of Bios products and the most frequent questions asked by customers. His job demands strong organizational abilities and an exceptional attention to detail.
